This is a hard to find true “Harricot Jaune Clasique”. A Yellow French filet climbing bean. The eating quality is outstanding and is one of the sweetest pole beans you ever tasted. Need to be trellised, it is early in production and pods are 7” to 9” long, straight and slender. Beautiful shiny black seeds and quite large in size, good for early germination under cold and wet conditions.

There is more demand for color in the produce markets and this might be what you are looking for. A yellow bush bean, or wax bean variety for the fresh market. Looks very attractive in a blend with our green bean BR 003 or BR 008 or BR 012. Pods are long (5.5-6”) and straight with an intense yellow color, even if grown under hotter conditions. Can be hand or machine picked.
